Hello!

Aspiring physician with strong interests in neuroscience, psychology, and public health. Founder of Del Norte Youth in Medicine, chemistry peer tutor, and BLS/CPR‑certified student committed to academic leadership, mentorship, and community health.

I am a motivated high school student with strong interests in medicine, neuroscience, psychology, and public health. I serve as the Founder and President of Del Norte Youth in Medicine, where I lead educational workshops and healthcare-focused outreach for students interested in medical careers. I am also a peer chemistry tutor, supporting students in Chem 1, Chem 2, and AP Chemistry.

My academic background includes advanced STEM coursework such as AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Calculus, Anatomy & Physiology, and Psychology, along with experience in Science Olympiad (Ecology). In addition, I am BLS/CPR certified and actively seeking opportunities in clinical exposure, research, and community health education.

Outside academics, I am a 1st Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo and former instructor, where I developed leadership, discipline, and mentorship skills. I am passionate about youth mentorship, medical education, and promoting wellness, and I aspire to pursue a future career in medicine focused on service and impact.

My Story

I started Mind to Medicine because I kept noticing how many students treat medical topics as something only future doctors need to understand. I disagree with that. I'm based in the US, and through Mind to Medicine I host free virtual seminars for students in India covering topics like stress management, disease prevention, and how the body works at a biological level. So far, over 80 students have attended. Each session is built around making the science feel approachable, not watered down, just explained in a way that actually sticks. I'm working toward becoming a physician, and a lot of what drives that is the belief that health literacy is something everyone deserves access to, regardless of what school they go to or what resources they have. Mind to Medicine is how I'm acting on that right now.
